Chand Baori is a step well, literally a well that has been dug into the ground with steps leading down to the water.
In this case it is 3,500 steps going down 13 stories, 100 feet deep.
Located in the village of Abhanari, India in the state of Rajasthan, the well has existed since the 9th century.
Legend says ghosts built the well in just one night...
