Dr Neelam Jain  

Dr Neelam Jain, is well known for her versatility. She made her mark on all her fields as an eminent writer, editor, poet and as an efficient organizer of All India Literary and social seminars, events and so on.

She bagged various awards like RamaDevi, Laxmi Narain Award and Acharya VidyaSagar Award (both for literature), Chandmal Saraogi Gauhati Award (journalism), George Bernad Shaw Memorial Honour (Vegetarianism). She has been ornamented with the titles like Sahitya-Sri, Sahitya Shiromani, Mahila-Ratna and Mahila-Gaurav. She also received Mahavir Award from Jain Vidya Sanshan, Jaipur.

Being the Research officer of Sahitya Bharati Shodh Sansthan she published around 75 papers in national and international journals. As a freelancer she contributed around 1000 articles to various newspapers and periodicals and also the author of around 15 books. She also works as the Chief Editor of Jain Mahiladarsh, Joint Editor of Kund Kund Vani and the Honorary Editor of Jagmagdeep Yogi.

Besides she is working for overall development of tribal people particularly for the Sarak community living in Bengal, Bihar and Orissa.
