Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) launched semideluxe mini buses with facilities of luxury buses on Tuesday to provide more comfort to passengers at low cost. These buses will be kept in the category of ‘Star Line’ service. Initially, buses were plying on two routes - Jaipur-Agra and Jaipur-Bharatpur .

Minister of state, RSRTC, Virendra Beniwal, inaugurated the maiden run at Sindhi Camp bus stand. “Soon, 150 more buses offering similar services will be on road. The new buses will ply on routes which have few or no luxury buses,” said Beniwal.
Their fare will be equal to that of deluxe buses, and will have similar facilities, too, such as air suspension, comfortable seats, mobile charger, etc. Fare for Agra is Rs 200 and for Bharatpur Rs 145.
It has 41 seats against the previous 45 to allow for more space and comfort. Sudhir Bhati, spokesperson, RSRTC, informed, once the service is fully operational its performance will be evaluated in order to increase the numbers and frequency.
On the growth of RSRTC, minister said that roadways buses cover 11 states and offer different kinds of services. “Soon, we will connect prominent religious places in the country to make our services more popular,” said Beniwal. Prior to the event, Beniwal also inaugurated the online ticketing centre at Sindhi Camp.
